Welcome to Orono! We strive to provide you with everything you need spritually and sacramentally during this new phase of your life.
On UMaine's campus is the Newman Center—also known as Our Lady of Wisdom. It's a church, a campus ministry center, and a community space for students, geared toward Catholics and anyone interested in exploring the faith. Students are of course welcome at any of our Parish's three off-campus churches as well.
Black Bear Catholic is the student group at the Newman Center. They hold many events and trips, which are a great way to meet fellow Catholics at UMaine. Reach out and they'll introduce you to the community!
